My Christian faith, writes Huckabee, is built on the foundation of Judaism, and
without it, Christianity would not exist. Let me stop right there. That's so important to understand. This is why christians need to have a healthy respect for the nation of Israel and the Jewish people. Israel can explain her existence without Christianity, but Christianity enjoys no similar luxury. We cannot explain our existence without the nation of Israel
because it's through the nation of Israel that Christianity came into existence. Read the book of Acts and you'll see it for yourself. Huckabee goes on and he says without theJudeo-Christian worldview there would be no Western civilization like the Ten Commandments etc. And without Western civilization there would be no America. The thought that God is even capable of breaking a covenant is anathema to those of us who embrace the holy scriptures as the authority of the church. Uh and that's why we think by
the way, the way we do is because in the Old Testament Genesis 15 God made a covenant to the nation of Israel and the Jewish people that is unconditional
unilateral can't be broken and is at the present time unfulfilled.
God has unfinished business with Israel and you have to rewrite the Old Testament in particular and the Bible in general to say otherwise.
